Cyclist rams Buffalo Herd

Rob Spera of Largo Florida, wearing the Yellow Jersey for the last 7 days of the Tour De Continental Divide, rounded a bend in excess of 40 mph and plowed through a herd of buffaloes migrating across the road. Spera was not hurt in the high speed collision, as he struck the first buffalo and flipped over the handlebars, did three somersaults, and landed upright on a very surprised buffalo. The buffalo immediated bucked him to the pavement.
Spera lost the Yellow Jersey but will continue in the tour. He was given a citation by the National Park Service for injuring an endangered species. While signing the citation, a bald eagle shit on his head. Asked to comment on the incident, Robby Spera said, "I had no where to go, I knew I was going to crash. All I could think about was that Roger Miller song from the 70's"

Ya can't roller skate in a buffalo herd
Ya can't roller skate in a buffalo herd
Ya can't roller skate in a buffalo herd
But you can be happy if you've a mind to - Roger Miller
