Geyser Hill

On this hill behind Old Faithful in a two square mile area, are one fourth of the world's geysers. The Yellowstone are sits over a hot spot in the earth where the mantle is very thin which allows heat from the core of the earth to reach the surface of the earth. The geysers and hot pools are actually nothing more than underground springs which are heated by heat escaping from the center of the earth.
