Today started out as a beautiful ride, perfect weather and wonderful views of the Rockies. Turns out I picked a bad day to wear the snow leopard outfit. We ended up on a very busy road, got passed by hundreds of cars and trucks. I never remember seeing so many semi tractor trailer trucks in my life. The last three hours we rode into a stiff 20-30 mph headwind, took 3 hours to ride the last 20 miles. Anyhow, the trucks were giving us no room at all passing within inches, both frightening and loud. Especially scarey was when cars going in the opposite direction would pull out into my lane on my side of the road to pass even though I was aleady in that lane. At first this made me mad but I became so tired and it happened so many times I finally just accepted that there are bad people in this world.
I was afraid one of the truckers would see my snow leapord outfit and run over me or shoot me, then take me to the taxidermist, have me stuffed and mount me on a wall in his living room.
