First Crossing

Made the first crossing of the continental divide this morning. 22 more crossings to go. Journey started at 7:37 this morning and 26 miles later we reached the first crossing of the divide. Watching the vegetation change from yucca plants that were blooming to juniper as we rose in elevation was very interesting.

Great picture! I'm really looking forward to more. Only 22 more crossings?...No problem. :) Hang in there.

Looks like you are doing great! How did you like that "beautiful" country that you started out with? I'm sure it has improved now. What an outstanding opportunity that you have taken on. Hope it is everything you have hoped it will be. Margie
