This blog describes my adventures as I bicycled the entire length of the Rocky Mountain Chain of North America. The tour went from southwest New Mexico to Jasper Alberta, all along the continental divide. The blog is in reverse order, with the last post first.

Timberline
Here is a photo of timberline going up Loveland Pass this morning. Timberline occurs when there is not enough enthalpy (heat capacity in the air) due to the high elevation and thin air to hold enough heat long enough for trees to grow.
We raised $3000 during this ride for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Breast Cancer Research.
Thank you all so very much for your all your generous contributions. Your donations will hopefully help eliminate both these diseases in our lifetime.
